An original painting by Lou. This is a watercolour painting with 23 carat gold leaf on 300gsm cold pressed Arches watercolour paper.

Sierpinski triangles are a fractal image comprised of repeatedly removing equilateral triangles from each triangle formed in the pattern. The removed triangles become smaller and smaller, leaving behind more equilateral triangles to again divide. I made this triangle pattern twice, once inverted, and painted one set in a range of blue watercolour tones. The second set has 23 carat gold leaf applied.

The frame in the photo is a mockup and not included, your painting will be shipped unmounted and unframed.

All paintings are originals and as such may have tiny marks in the margins and movement to the paper from the water and paint being applied.

Large paintings and prints shipped outside of the UK may be sent in a protective tube, otherwise they will be shipped flat. Orders will be posted from the UK within three working days and shipping is free within the UK. Please contact me  to get shipping costs and details for destinations outside UK and North America. I’m unable to ship to the EU at this time. Delays and charges imposed at customs are not the seller’s responsibility.
