Memberships on Ko-fi
What is Ko-fi?
Ko-fi is a donation site that allows my wonderful supporters to donate on a one-off or monthly basis to express their appreciation for the free content I make and to allow me to make more of it.
On ko-fi, I post some behind-the-scenes blog posts, mostly about running my little art business and letting you all in on the joys and frustrations of creating for a living.
Once a month, I make an extra video just for my paid supporters. Currently these videos take the form of a pattern-of-the-month, where I share how to draw and paint all sorts of patterns. These usually involve compasses and rulers in the construction and then I complete the patterns with watercolour.
All the extra content is available to one-off subscribers for 30 days and to monthly paid members on an ongoing basis until you decide to cancel, so you can sign up for just one month if there’s a pattern you’re keen to try. I share the patterns I’m working on on instagram and on my newsletter, so follow me there for the latest updates.
There are no membership tiers, all subscribers get access to the paid content for any level of support from only £2. If you’re looking to try it out, it’s a good idea to sign up for an account on Ko-fi before making your payment so that there’s no problem seeing the videos. If you donate as a guest, you’ll have to create an account later and link it to the payment in order to access the extra content.
Videos from the last few months have included:
Tiling Pattern from the Alhambra Palace
This pattern is sometimes known as pajaritas, or 'little birds' in Spanish.
Split Ribbon Celtic Knot
I've made a number of celtic knot tutorials on my YouTube channel, this one is a little more complex, for those looking for more of a challenge!
Tumbling Blocks
A classic quilting pattern using different tones to achieve a 3D effect.
